BALLET<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t

This is a collage done in my sophomore year of college, where, in a series of three, I took one common theme and designed three separate collages for it. The common theme was deception, as on the outside, ballet can be seen as an overall beautiful thing. However, there is a lot of pain that goes into looking so beautiful and often goes overlooked by those who do not understand the phrase beauty is pain.

Therefore, the collage on its own looks to be visually pleasing from a distance, but take a closer look at the compositions and suddenly bones, bandages, and sharp objects pierce the skin of our dancers. Combined as a motion project, this piece remains one of my favorite projects.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t
