ICARUS
This project goes into storytelling in three parts using only imagery. The story of Icarus, or the boy who flew too close to the sun, begins with a boy and his father, two criminals who got caught and were put in prison. The father had the brilliant idea one night to use the pillow feathers to make wings so they could fly out of their prison. However, upon making the wings and getting a taste of their freedom once again, the boy could not contain himself and continued to fly around their city. The father called out for him to come back, but the boy did not listen and flew closer to the sun. The heat made his wings burn and melt off, leaving the boy to fall into the ocean and drown.
